A mainstay in any 2 part cloth diapering system, it combines extreme functionality and the latest in cloth diapering technology with fun and colourful prints. And this premium but affordable cloth diapering product not only looks marvellous, but also has a remarkably good fit on most babies.
The generous cut of this cover makes it suitable for any type of FLAT or CONTOURED cloth diaper, or any type of PRE-FORMED, VELCRO OR SNAP-CLOSING cloth diaper.
It features a durable waterproof layer concealed within 2 layers of ultra soft polyester fabric so that no laminate touches your baby’s skin. Although this marvellous fabric is waterproof and will stand up to the rigors of industrial washing, it is comfortable for baby - and much more breathable than plastic or vinyl.
Wash and dry at normal temperatures in washer and dryer. Please avoid fabric softeners, chlorine bleach, or any other whitening agents. Be sure to wash and rinse with enough hot water in order to eliminate detergent residue and wash your cloth diapers clean. Your Super Whisper Wrap should not retain odours, and if it does, please check out our washing information or call us for help!
Available in white and fun prints.
Of course, as is true of all our cloth diaper covers, the Super Whisper Wrap is made with careful attention to detail in Bummis' wonderful factory in Montreal, so that we are assured of good quality and fair labour practices. I have been using Bummis Super Whisper Wraps on my little guy for 14 months now. I have a tall but average (not super chunky, but not a beanpole) baby. I like that I have been able to adjust this wrap to grow with him easily. He's now 14 months and 26+ pounds and a little over 31 inches tall. I can still use the mediums over the smaller prefolds (trifolded) for the daytime, but he's finally getting big enough that extra padding at night is requiring me to size up to the large. No worries. One challenge I had at first was that I needed to learn the bikini twist and how to use the prefold insert correctly to catch his blowouts when he was a little guy with that lovely breastfed poop. Once I got the hang of that, his diaper covers didn't get quite as dirty or leak at the legs. Now that he's older and his poop is more solid, the simple trifold is perfect. The cover keeps everything in and I've NEVER had the leaks and messes that I had with disposables when he was tiny. If you are wanting to wipe out your cover after a poop and reuse it, don't get this one. I personally don't like reusing a pooped-on cover until after it's been washed, because my nose is too sensitive. The velcro has held up well, though there is some pilling around the laundry tabs (mostly because my sweet hubs doesn't take the time to close them carefully when he removes them), but nothing that keeps these covers from being as awesome as the day we bought them. I anticipate needing to replace the velcro tabs on our medium covers before the next kiddo, but considering that they have been used daily for 10 months and still going strong, this doesn't bother me at all.
